Job summary

Community Action Council's The Prep Academy in Carlisle, KY is seeking an Entry Level Leader of the teaching team in the early childhood classroom. You will guide the education program and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, and NAEYC.

You will lead curriculum planning, oversee records, and support staff to promote the development of all children, including those with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood classroom management.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desired.
• Experience with computers is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Leader of teaching team in the early childhood classroom.
• Responsible for the overall development and implementation of the education program in the classroom to keep the classroom compliant with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
