Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor fellow staff while delivering our child-centered curriculum. You will create a warm, safe environment where children can explore and grow, and you'll regularly connect with parents to support each child’s development.

In this role you’ll collaborate with center leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, build positive relationships with families and staff, and help deliver high-quality care across

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress or attained.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support each child’s development.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
