Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring teachers to lead, coach and mentor in the classroom, delivering KinderCare's curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.

You'll partner with parents, support center goals around enrollment and accreditation, and build relationships with families and community partners. Requirements include CDA or pursuing credentials, ECE experience, and ability to lift 40 pounds. Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service and organizational skills required.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of early childhood education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading/writing/speaking to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
