Job summary

Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center in Ohio seeks a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher to guide a classroom and foster engaging learning experiences for infants to Pre-K. Class placement is based on experience, interests, and center needs.

Responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate activities, supporting early literacy and math, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and communicating with families about progress and daily experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention trainings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
• Create engaging learning experiences supporting early literacy, math, social-emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and development.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding children’s needs, progress, and classroom experiences.
• Maintain required classroom records, including attendance, lesson plans, and daily reports.
• Follow state licensing requirements and center policies.
• Support program quality standards and collaborate with team members.
• Coordinate age-appropriate classroom activities, special events, and field trips as applicable.
