Job summary

Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher to guide a classroom and provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for infants to Pre-K. You will lead activities, document progress, and build strong relationships with families in a supportive setting.

The position offers a daytime schedule, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with opportunities for professional growth and benefits such as PTO, holidays, and childcare discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to complete CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention trainings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
• Create engaging learning experiences supporting early literacy, math, and social-emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, structured, nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children's growth and development.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding children's needs and progress.
• Maintain classroom records including attendance and daily reports.
• Follow state licensing requirements and center policies.
• Coordinate age-appropriate activities, events, and field trips when applicable.
