Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to support early childhood learners. You will lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn.

You will partner with parents to provide the best care and education, and collaborate with center staff to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. This role emphasizes building a strong community at the center.

Qualifications

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAECY candidacy.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and safety standards.
