Job summary

Clubhouse Academy LLC- Johnstown, CO is seeking a Lead Qualified Teacher to provide nurturing care for infants and toddlers, implement an age-appropriate curriculum, and build stable relationships with families. The role requires CDA or lead-teacher qualification and Colorado Shines/PDIS training, plus 6 months in a childcare setting.

The position offers a schedule with options for 5 days or 4 days per week, paid holidays after 90 days, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must hold a CDA credential or equivalent or be Level 2/lead teacher qualified.
• Colorado Shines/PDIS verified & finished before starting work.
• Completion of 22 hours in PDIS orientation/classes is required.
• EQIT or Pyramid training completion is preferred.
• College courses in Early Childhood Education or related field are preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience in an early childhood program or related work with young children.
• Willingness to complete at least 15 hours of training each year on own time.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with infants, toddlers, their parents and staff.
• Provide quality, nurturing care to infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum (Frogstreet, Zoo Phonics).
• Maintain safe, supportive relationships with children and families.
• Conduct developmental screenings and document results (ASQs).
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in team collaboration.
• Be flexible with schedule and willing to adapt to changes.
