Job summary

KinderCare in Morrisville, NC is hiring a classroom leader who will mentor teachers, implement the center's curriculum with attention to each child's needs, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn through play.

You will partner with families and coordinate with center staff to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals, while building positive relationships with licensing authorities and community partners.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress
• Approved state trainer preferred
• 2–3 years in early childhood education
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• State-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and families

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare curriculum to meet each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning
• Partner with parents to support children's development
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners
