Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an energetic Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, ensuring curriculum integrity and a safe, enriching environment for children. You will engage with families to support each child’s development and collaborate with center leadership to drive enrollment and accreditation efforts.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, physical ability for classroom activities, and commitment to ongoing professional credentials and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children's development and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with center staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
