Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy (or willingness to pursue)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience preferred
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• Read, write, understand, and speak English fluently to communicate with children and families

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to support child care and education
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
