Job summary

AiRCO Mechanical Ltd. is expanding its service group and seeks a lead-level HVAC technician for complex commercial environments in Round Rock, Texas.

You will diagnose, repair, and commission DX systems, document work, and collaborate with customers and teams to ensure reliable results. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record; pass a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and EPA Universal certification.
• 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check required.

Responsibilities

• Pinpoint faults and restore operation on commercial DX systems (RTUs, splits, heat pumps, packaged units, VRF).
• Swap and commission major components—compressors, motors, TXVs, coils and more.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, parts, and labor with accuracy.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to set expectations and deliver results.
• Adhere to safety procedures, codes, and EPA requirements every time.
• Keep tools, test gear, and vehicle organized and in peak condition.

What you need to bring

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school credentials
• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal certification
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check

Rewards

• Pay: $30.00 – $60.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 40–50 per week

Sign-on bonus tiers
