Job summary

WorldKids® School North Raleigh is seeking an energetic Lead ECE Language Immersion Teacher to lead a Spanish‑only classroom for ages 12 months through Pre‑K. You will deliver high‑quality, developmentally appropriate instruction, manage daily routines, and mentor an Assistant Teacher to ensure a flawless immersion experience.

You will collaborate with families, uphold North Carolina licensing standards, and leverage The Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies platform to plan lessons.

Qualifications

• Native or native‑equivalent Spanish fluency is required; English communication with families is necessary.
• Minimum 2–3 years of licensed ECE teaching experience; immersion/dual-language background preferred.
• Familiarity with The Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies platform.
• DCDEE lead teacher qualifications and an ECE degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily Spanish immersion across routines and activities.
• Plan lessons using The Creative Curriculum via Teaching Strategies platform.
• Lead classroom operations and supervise the Assistant Teacher.
• Conduct child assessments and maintain development portfolios.
• Foster family partnerships and communicate progress regularly.
