Jennings H. Mitchell and Son Inc. is seeking a Commercial Foreman to lead on-site crews in drywall and framing projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. Strong leadership and a proven track record in drywall construction are essential.

The ideal candidate will supervise crews, coordinate with clients, manage project schedules, and maintain meticulous documentation. Baltimore area projects, with travel as needed, are included in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Foreman experience in construction, specialized in metal framing, drywall, FRP, finishing, ceilings, doors and frames.
• Strong leadership with ability to supervise crews and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet timelines.
• Excellent communication with clients and project teams.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, PlanGrid and PDF tools.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership: promote job site safety and address hazards.
• Team supervision: direct on-site crew members and subcontractors.
• Project scheduling: maintain schedules and ensure timely task completion.
• Client relations: maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Documentation: maintain detailed daily written and photo records of work and safety issues.
• Reporting: ensure all job reports and documents are completed and submitted on time.
• Blueprint interpretation: read and interpret blueprints for correct execution.
