Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for our Drones team to bridge design and high-volume production of advanced UAS platforms. You will lead a cross-disciplinary manufacturing group, drive rapid ramp-to-production, and optimize processes for cost, quality, and scale.

You will own manufacturing documentation, work with design and quality teams, and champion continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or hard science.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or similar prototyping position.
• Demonstrated team leadership with measurable results.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Engineer team with expertise in mechanical, electrical and system integration.
• Lead transitions from concept to prototype, pilot, and full production.
• Provide sustained support for mechanical, electrical, harnessing, and firmware issues.
• Drive design for manufacturing with cross-functional teams to enable rapid ramp to production.
• Own MBOMs, work instructions, and related manufacturing documentation.
• Identify and implement cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Facilitate make-vs-buy decisions with internal supply chain teams.
• Contribute to hardware design and test activities including interconnects and board fabrication.
