Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a DRAM Process Development Lead to drive the strategy and execution of plasma dry etch development for next-generation DRAM devices. You will lead multi-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver new process technologies from concept through high-volume production.

The role requires strong expertise in plasma etch fundamentals, experimental design and data analysis, plus a track record of leading complex development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of semiconductor process development experience, including significant plasma dry etch experience.
• Strong expertise in plasma etch fundamentals, reactor operation, process characterization, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical data analysis, and process optimization methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of advanced plasma dry etch processes for next-generation DRAM technologies.
• Define technical strategies and roadmaps for dry etch process and equipment development.
• Drive process capability, yield, and reliability improvements through data-driven experimentation and structured problem solving.
• Partner with integration, manufacturing, equipment, and supplier teams to develop, qualify, and transfer new technologies into production.
• Mentor engineers, support talent development, and foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and technical excellence.
