Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead a team of developers building web applications with C# and .NET. You will translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with product owners, analysts, and architects to deliver high‑quality software in a fast‑paced Dallas environment.

This role requires hands‑on coding, architectural oversight, and mentoring, with a focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience as a Full Stack Developer with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Experience leading teams with responsibilities for delivery and mentorship.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and ORM like Entity Framework.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (CosmosDB).
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.

• Provide technical support and address incidents as needed.
• Clarify requirements, define user stories, and prioritize the product backlog with stakeholders.

• Oversee end-to-end SDLC including planning, coding, reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive technical decisions, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies and propose solutions.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Act as the primary bridge between product owners, business analysts, architects, and the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical support in case of questions or incidents
• Collaborate with product owners and analysts to clarify requirements, define user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Work closely with solution architects to align development efforts with architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive technical decisions, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed across the team.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies, and proactively propose solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Proven experience in a lead or senior developer role with team leadership responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Entity Framework.
• Experience with NoSQL Databases (CosmosDB)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Event Sourcing and CQRS Design Patterns
• Experience with Microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
