Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with no experience; or
• Associate degree with at least 1 year of directly related experience; or
• High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of directly related or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DA team and support physicians and the DA Manager.
• Monitor workflows, task completion, patient flow, staffing coverage, and adherence to department processes.
• Assist with staff scheduling, daily coverage coordination, and workflow adjustments based on department needs.
• Serve as a DA trainer and support onboarding, competency development, and ongoing staff training.
• Coordinate surgical schedules for assigned physicians and manage pre-operative testing.
• Ensure accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding on surgical requisitions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and coordinate patient care with referring physicians and facilities.
• Respond to patient concerns with professionalism, compassion, and urgency.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
