Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Dock and Door Mechanic to support Western, MD and surrounding areas. The role offers growth opportunities and competitive benefits in a family‑oriented company.

The candidate will repair overhead doors and dock leveling systems, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance across commercial installations. A valid license, personal tools, and a willingness to work at heights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding / fabricating experience is a plus.
• Individual must have their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems
• Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Performs commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on overhead doors and dock leveling systems
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems for doors and dock leveling systems
• Works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts; uses PPE and fall protection
