Job summary

Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group seeks senior and principal civil engineers to serve as district engineers for municipal water and sewer systems. Location options include Clovis, Visalia, or Bakersfield, CA.

Expect leadership in feasibility studies, design and construction while coordinating with services districts and multicenter project teams. The ideal candidate will bring broad experience in water, sewer and stormwater projects, strong client relationships, and a collaborative approach

Qualifications

10+ years of consulting engineering experience delivering studies, design and construction projects for public clients.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects.
Minimum 5 years as primary client contact for district agencies.
Experience in planning, design and construction of water, sewer and storm infrastructure.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact with services district staff and attend public board meetings.
Lead planning, design and construction of water and sewer infrastructure projects including pipelines, treatment facilities, and storage systems.
Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports and construction documents.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop or update improvement standards and drawings.
Review development applications and conditions of approval.
