City of Clermont is seeking a dedicated Utilities Supervisor to oversee water and reuse infrastructure crews, manage job-site logistics, and ensure safe, efficient operations under general supervision.
The role requires leadership, water distribution experience, and the ability to coordinate maintenance, hydrant testing, meter work, and regulatory compliance with city and state standards.
This position is responsible for job site logistics and operations, traffic controls, supervision, record keeping, and assigns individual tasks at job site. Performs lead work in: maintaining and repairing water and reuse mains and associated meters, and cross connection control devices; and other utility projects. Works under general supervision.
This position is non-exempt. Fair Labor Standards Act overtime provisions will apply.

Works outside in sometimes adverse environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, and rain) for moderate periods of time. Exposure to construction and water/wastewater site hazards, traffic, and moving machinery. Involves working with high voltage equipment, heights, and below ground level conditions.
