Hoshizaki America Inc. in Edison, NJ is seeking a Distribution Lead to oversee daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment at the satellite warehouse located at 450 Raritan Center Pkwy, Edison, NJ 08837. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

You will lead Distribution Associates, coordinate priorities, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time while upholding safety, organization, and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 4–5 years shipping/receiving or distribution operations experience.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Strong knowledge of carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL) and processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
• Proficient in inventory systems, shipping software, and Microsoft Office.
• Adheres to safety policies and can lift up to 51 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily distribution operations by assigning and prioritizing work for shipping, receiving, and order fulfilment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with weekly cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving across UPS, LTL, and other carriers for timely deliveries.
• Lead and train Distribution Associates with safe, efficient warehouse practices.
• Maintain a safe, organized facility and support audits and process improvements.
