Job summary
Hoshizaki America Inc. is seeking a Distribution Lead to manage the satellite warehouse in Edison, NJ, overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment.
You will lead Distribution Associates, set daily priorities, and ensure on‑time, accurate processing while maintaining inventory accuracy and customer service. The role requires 4–5 years of distribution experience, proficiency with forklifts and shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL), plus strong organizational and communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4–5 years in shipping, receiving, or distribution.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipping processes.
- Ability to lift up to 51 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily distribution operations by prioritizing work to ensure shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing weekly cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving across UPS, LTL, and other carriers for timely deliveries.
- Lead and train Distribution Associates with safe and efficient warehouse practices.
- Maintain a safe, organized facility and support audits and process improvements.
