Job summary

Ascend Distribution seeks a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, loading, and inventory control. You will drive safety, training, and efficiency while coordinating with the Distribution Center Operations Manager.

The role requires at least 1 year supervising a distribution facility and familiarity with OSHA guidelines. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork are essential to maintain high performance and staff

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a distribution facility.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding terminal facility preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise all floor activity, including product receipt, put-away, pick for OB shipment, loading for outbound, inventory integrity and cycle counting, employee safety and training.
Plans, organizes, schedules, forecasts, and coordinates work to meet production schedules and operational goals.
Demonstrates personal concern for maintaining a safe environment for themselves and others.
Actively promotes proper use of equipment and adherence to processes.
Ensure all employees are cross-trained on systems and equipment to avoid disruption of DCM and DCH operations, including customer-specific systems.
Complete daily reports and correspondence for DCM and DCH.
Ensure warehouse is clean and in food-grade condition.
Ensure steps are taken to secure building, product, and property.
