Job summary

Apple in San Diego is seeking a Display Electrical Design Engineer to drive display module electrical design from concept through prototypes to mass production. You will shape the architecture, define validation plans, and coordinate with internal and external teams to deliver high-performance, reliable display solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with PCB design including component selection, schematic capture, and layout.
• Experience using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre.
• Experience with prototype IC or PCB bring-up, validation, and failure analysis.
• Experience with coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive display module electrical design requirements for new product introduction, from concept level and initial prototypes to mass production.
• Contribute to the overall module architecture including custom silicon requirements and IPs, define validation plans, and manage vendors.
• Collaborate with a world-class cross-functional team across HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, and Optical disciplines to deliver high-performance display solutions.
