The ideal candidate brings a Ph.D. with 6+ years in medicinal chemistry, strong synthesis skills, and the ability to translate SAR insights into actionable plans within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant research experience.
• Deep expertise in synthetic organic chemistry for drug discovery.
• Experience designing and synthesizing diverse compound libraries to test SAR.
• Strong ability to develop and execute synthetic strategies for novel matter.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead chemistry initiatives for exploratory research on new modalities.
• Design and implement diverse compound libraries to test SAR.
• Develop parallel synthesis techniques for rapid library creation.
• Refine synthetic pathways for efficient diversification and scalability.
• Apply SAR insights to guide compound optimization.
• Communicate progress and identify/address challenges regularly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
• Manage external chemistry teams and ensure high-quality ELN records.
