• Ph.D. or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant research experience.
• Deep expertise in synthetic organic chemistry for drug discovery.
• Experience designing diverse libraries to test SAR and biology hypotheses.
• Strong convergent and modular synthesis strategies for rapid library generation.
• Ability to independently develop synthetic strategies for novel compounds.
• Ability to integrate chemistry with biological data to guide design.

Responsibilities

• Lead chemistry initiatives for exploratory research on innovative modalities and screening strategies.
• Design and implement targeted compound libraries to test SAR hypotheses and objectives.
• Develop parallel synthesis techniques for rapid library creation and optimization.
• Refine synthetic pathways for diversification and scalability.
• Use SAR insights to guide compound optimization and project direction.
• Communicate progress and proactively address challenges with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive institute-wide innovation.
• Support BeOne Institute objectives at the San Carlos site and manage external CROs.
• Maintain impeccable ELN records.
