Job summary

Seven Hills Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional II to empower individuals to live independently in their communities. You’ll provide daily support in a residential setting, follow ISP/Behavior Support Plans, assist with personal care and medications, and accompany clients to appointments.

Starting pay is $20.50/hour with awake/asleep differentials; Cape-based programs add $1/hour, Martha’s Vineyard adds $4/hour, and Franklin Street on MV adds $3/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 18+ years old and valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a residential setting with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care in a residential setting.
• Teach life skills to promote independence at home and in the community.
• Follow ISP and Behavior Support Plans and document progress.
• Assist with personal care, medications, and health needs.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities.
• Train and mentor other staff and support budgeting and funds.
