Community Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Direct Support Professional to guide a team in Beaverton/Aloha, supporting individuals with disabilities. The role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and inclusive care within the community.

The Lead DSP will collaborate with clinicians, families and staff, manage on-call responsibilities, and ensure compassionate, person-centered services across shifts. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year of prior DSP experience.
• Acceptable background check required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing life skills such as communication, self-care, and household management.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, recreational activities and other outings.
• Assist in managing personal finances and review documentation for individuals in your care.
• Lead DSPs share on-call responsibilities with the location supervisor.
• Provide person-centered services, supports and advocacy in positive environments.
• Implement behavior support plans, teach coping strategies and promote positive social interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, families and case managers for holistic care.
• Participate in training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures governing services.

Day Shift Lead DSP; Wednesday - Saturday; 600am - 400pm; 40 hours per week and excellent benefits!!We are seeking compassionate and dedicate individuals to join our team here at Community Services, Inc. (CSI), as Lead Direct Support Professionals (LDSPs), to provide care and support for individuals with disabilities. As a Lead DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by assisting them in various aspects of daily living, promoting independence, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.What you will do as a Lead DSP:Ultimately, the goal is to help the people you support, feel and become as independent as possible, while they live their daily lives. Among other things, you will:Support individuals in developing life skills, such as communication, self-care, and household management.Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, recreational activities, and other outings.Assist in the management of personal finances and review of documentation for the individuals in your care.
