Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Lead Dining Server at Concord Reserve in Westlake, OH. You will guide and develop dining staff, ensure residents receive exceptional meals, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to train team members while maintaining compassionate, resident-centered care. Comprehensive benefits and a supportive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in dining services within senior living or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability with a service-first mindset.
• Familiarity with dining operations, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead servers and mentor staff to deliver compassionate, timely meals.
• Serve meals to residents in dining rooms and rooms, following dietary guidelines.
• Set up trays, dining room, and supervise service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure accurate temperature logs.
• Use POS to process orders and checks; report temperature deviations to management.

Schedule:Full-Time | 11:00am -7:00pm, Monday -Friday with every other weekend

You, our Ideal Candidate
You are a service-oriented and experienced dining professional with a passion for leading and mentoring others. You model exceptional service, have a strong understanding of dining operations, and bring enthusiasm to training and supporting team members while ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Share regular constructive feedback, providing explanation and demonstration of proper techniques to allow newly hired Universal Servers to understand expectations of the LEC way to perform role.
• Serve meals to residents in their rooms and dining areas in a friendly and timely manner, following all regulations regarding special diets.
• Setup meal trays and dining room as instructed.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary. Be familiar with menu and preparation of menu items.
• Complete daily cleaning duties as outlined in daily lists to ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the meal service (for example- clean work tables, sweep and mop floors, take out garbage and keep work areas, clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.}
• Restock food and supplies in preparation of the next meal service.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc. are readily available for next meal.
• Record temperatures of food and dish machine water as required. Notify Manager when dish machine water temperature or food temperature fall below required temperature levels.
• Transfer food from Main Kitchen to work area
• Use computer to submit and process checks in POS system
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform and in compliance dress code. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Wearing a hair net is required at all times.
