Job summary

Evergy seeks a Sr/Lead Digital Operations Developer to design and deliver secure, scalable Power Platform solutions that improve operational workflows. You will own technical solution design across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI-enabled components, mentoring teammates and collaborating with Analysts/Product Owners to translate business needs into production-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field or equivalent.
5+ years of software development, solution engineering, automation, or integration experience.
Hands-on with Microsoft Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
Experience with Power Fx, SQL, Python, JavaScript, .NET, C#, APIs and connectors.
Experience designing or supporting AI-enabled, data-driven solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and maintain Power Platform solutions.
Define architecture, data models, security, and integration approaches.
Collaborate with Analysts/Product Owners to translate requirements into deliverables.
Create and enhance Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint tools, and AI components.
Troubleshoot issues, document findings, and implement corrections.
Develop reusable components and frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.
Provide advanced support and escalation for complex solutions.
Mentor developers and guide delivery across teams.
