Job summary

RTX seeks a Principal Digital Design Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to design digital circuits for missile applications. The role covers design, analysis, simulation, test and integration of digital modules and CCAs with FPGA, memory, and high-speed interfaces.

The candidate will collaborate with the Effector Digital Products team to deliver robust hardware for defense programs, requiring DoD Secret clearance and full-time onsite work in US territory.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years engineering digital circuit design experience with multiple design aspects.
• Experience with PCB design process and tools for schematic capture, analysis and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules for Missile applications.
• Collaborate with engineers to design digital circuits for missile guidance, video, and DSP.
• Work on high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multi-processor designs.
