Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Engineering to own the digital thread across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. You will build the platform architecture, code initially, and hire/grow the software team, expanding as the mandate grows.

You will lead a team from junior to staff, drive roadmap, ensure compliance (ITAR/CUI), and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver unified product data and scalable systems of record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years directly managing software engineering teams.
• 8+ years total software engineering experience with hands-on work.
• Current coding proficiency in at least one modern language (Go, Python).
• Track record shipping software products or platforms to production on a predictable cadence.
• Experience building enterprise systems or workflows with data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and grow a software engineering team from junior to staff level.
• Define the digital thread roadmap across platform, integrations, and in-house apps.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on coding for core services and integrations.
• Ensure observability, data quality, and auditability across systems (ITAR/CUI).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed product data flow into design and manufacturing.
