Passaic County in Paterson, NJ seeks a Supervising Dietitian for Preakness Healthcare Center. Under the Chief Dietitian, you assess dietary needs of residents, prepare treatment plans and supervise food production staff.

You will oversee admissions dietary portions, provide nutrition counseling, and contribute to treatment and discharge planning. Requires a Registered Dietitian, a dietetics degree, and a dietetic internship with 3 years of nutrition experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, or Food Service Management.
• Completion of a dietetic internship.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) license.

Responsabilidades

• Assess dietary needs of residents and prepare dietary portions of the treatment plan.
• Supervise dietary staff and food production as assigned.
• Provide dietary counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Develop, implement, review, and revise dietary portions of treatment and discharge plans.
• Review and approve normal and special diet menus.
