POSITION SUMMARY – Registered Dietitian

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for overseeing the clinical nutrition aspects of resident care and supporting the operations of the Dietary Department. In collaboration with the Food Service Director, this role ensures that nutrition services are planned, organized, and delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies. The Registered Dietitian provides nutrition assessments, develops and monitors care plans, and helps promote the health and well‑being of residents through appropriate dietary practices.
