Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in healthcare, science, food service/nutrition/dietetics, management, or culinary arts preferred.
• In progress or completed Associate's or bachelor's degree in one of these areas preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist dietitian in nutritional management and patient care across the life cycle.
• Assist clinical nutrition manager with scheduling, staff oversight, training, and mentorship.
• Troubleshoot operational/technical/phone Call Center issues; collaborate with food service staff and managers.
• Provide menu corrections to ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and patient preferences; give basic info on therapeutic diet restrictions.
• Participate in continuing education and inservice training; achieve high evaluation scores.
• Support management to maintain smooth Call Center operations and vendor coordination for nutrition software issues.
