Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Nutrition Assistant is responsible for leading the patient meal service aspects of the Food & Nutrition Services operations. They will act as a primary resource and go-to for all food and nutrition staff including, patient, non-patient, dietary, and food production to ensure effective operations. They are the key contact for handling and troubleshooting employee, service, and operational matters when the management team is off-duty. The position provides a high-quality dining experience to patients, meeting their nutritional requirements and service expectations regarding temperature, timeliness, and food quality. They will oversee room service operations including staff, safety, and sanitation.
