Job summary

XPO Logistics is hiring for a diesel technician team lead in Honolulu, HI. The role involves supervising shop personnel, coordinating parts and vendors, and ensuring maintenance across class 7 and 8 diesel equipment and trailers.

You’ll work with DOT, EPA, and OSHA standards while training technicians and moving trailers across the yard. Qualified candidates have at least 4 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, strong computer skills, and the ability to obtain EPA HVAC

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer skills.
• Certification in EPA HVAC refrigerant recovery (within 90 days)
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise shop personnel.
• Order parts and manage vendors.
• Ensure technicians receive required training.
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel equipment, forklifts and trailing equipment.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, OSHA standards and company policies.
• Repair or rebuild components of equipment systems.
• Move and position trailers around the facility.
• Operate a hostler and work in varied weather conditions.
