Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or minimum 4 years of diesel technician experience.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to manage and prioritize work to meet equipment needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual vehicle inspections, routine preventive maintenance and repair services.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems across truck systems (engine, drive train, cab, brakes, suspension, electrical and communications).
• Assist leadership in developing associates' skills, leading team meetings and enforcing processes.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all associates and visitors.
