Job summary

Clarke Power Services in Moraine, OH is seeking a Lead Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic for NEW business. You will perform fleet maintenance including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis, lead other technicians, and perform PMIs on tractors and trailers.

Valid driver license required; willing to obtain CDL. Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience; diesel training program preferred. Clarke offers competitive salary, full benefits, and growth opportunities.

Join our team providing excellence in customer service and safety while providing fleet maintenance including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following duties:

• Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment.
• Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Assist and lead other technicians

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ?

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid driver license
• Must be willing to Get a CDL if you don’t have one.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
