Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Marysville, Ohio seeks a Lead Diesel Technician to repair tractors and trailers and serve as the on-shift decision-maker when a manager is not present. The role is full-time with a 1st shift from 2:30 p.m.

to 11:00 p.m. You will perform inspections, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, mentor teammates, uphold safety, and ensure maintenance processes are followed. A technical degree or 4+ years of diesel experience is required, plus the ability to bring your own

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or 4+ years of diesel technician experience.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to manage and prioritize work to meet equipment needs.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Job overview:

• Repair company tractors and trailers as a Lead Diesel Technician in Marysville, OH.
