A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Northeast, MD is seeking an experienced 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair our Class 8 fleet and lead shop activities.

The role requires hands-on skill with heavy-duty trucks, tools and diagnostic procedures; minimum 2 years' experience and vocational training preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical and suspension components.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.
