Job summary

Red Classic is seeking a Lead Diesel Maintenance Technician in Burlington, NC. You will coordinate technician training, schedule work, manage workflow and ensure safety, while performing diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and fleet equipment.

You will mentor junior technicians, oversee parts inventory, and uphold quality standards. The role requires 5–7 years of related experience, a DOT brake inspection certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and clean conditions in all Fleet Maintenance facilities.
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians B and C; may perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform a complete diesel engine overhaul and repair drive components.
• Balance workloads across multiple locations to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and resolve discrepancies.
