Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Nashville is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead daily patient care operations in a dialysis environment. You will supervise direct care staff, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality outcomes in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

You’ll oversee staffing, participate in care planning meetings, and mentor staff while coordinating with facility leadership to optimize performance and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience with 6 months of dialysis care experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Certified in CPR or complete CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Approve or adjust staff schedules while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate dialysis patient care and supervise documentation and reporting.
• Supervise safe operation of dialysis equipment and train staff on procedures.
