Innovative Renal Care in Springfield, MA is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead the hemodialysis team, directing daily patient care and supervising staff while promoting a positive experience for patients, families, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with active state licensure, a minimum of 12 months nursing experience (3 months dialysis preferred), BLS/CPR certified, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience, including 3 months in maintenance dialysis care (or as required by state guidelines).
• Meets state/licensing requirements.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred.
• BLS and CPR certified.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Proven leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Our Charge Nurses function as the hemodialysis team leader and provide day to day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff.
• Promotes positive public relations with patients, their family members, guests, physicians, and coworkers.
• Uses tactful and appropriate communications in all work-related interactions.
