Job summary

Capital One's CORE Technology division seeks a DevOps Engineer to lead and shape cloud-based solutions that support millions of customers and meet regulatory needs. You will drive end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and continuously explore new technologies to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
At least 4 years of DevOps Engineering experience.
At least 3 years of Cloud Native technologies experience.
At least 4 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in ML, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
Establish a dedicated SRE squad to bolster visibility, dependability, and consistency of current infrastructures.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current with tech trends.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of Americans.
Utilize languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby and Go; use Docker/Kubernetes; and employ Ansible and Terraform, plus AWS tools.
