Job summary

FindErnest is looking for an experienced DevOps leader to drive automation, coordinate across operations, development and testing, and advance CI/CD practices.

You will design the DevOps architecture, select tools (Flux CD, Terraform, Dynatrace), manage Azure production clusters, and enforce security across the lifecycle. The role requires hands-on Azure skills (Azure CNI, Ingress, Helm) and Terraform, plus leadership to ensure timely, compliant releases.

Qualifications

• Must have managed production clusters.
• Experience with Azure CNI, HPA/VPA, Ingress Controllers (Nginx/AGIC), and Node Pool lifecycle management.
• The candidate must be able to explain how they handle a Pod Pending state or an ImagePullBackOff in a locked-down enterprise network.
• GitOps experience with Flux CD and automated reconciliation loops.
• Helm chart authoring and troubleshooting proficiency.
• Hands-on with Dynatrace for SLOs and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps to drive automation and CI/CD across teams.
• Design and define the DevOps architecture/framework for project delivery.
• Choose DevOps tools/platforms per client requirements.
• Create a deployment model for validation, testing and monitoring.
• Define and manage IT infrastructure to support software code.
• Drive the DevOps pipeline across planning, building, testing, staging to release and monitoring.
• Integrate security across the DevOps lifecycle to reduce risk.
• Provide customer support on DevOps tools and onboard teams.
