What We'll Bring:

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer in DevOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS or GCP, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and infrastructure monitoring.

What You'll Bring:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps pipelines using Jenkins or Harness.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE) for high availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Develop and maintain tracing solutions using Tempo and OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
  • Ensure container security through hardening and scanning tools.
  • Set up and manage data streaming and processing solutions using Kafka, OpenSearch, and Apache NiFi.
  • Provide strong production support and troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Terraform to set up infrastructure from scratch and develop custom modules.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, optimization, and automation to enhance launch/fallback consistency and accuracy.
  • Design infrastructure architecture for new requirements.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Impact You'll Make:

  • 9+ years of DevOps experience.
  • Strong system-level knowledge and Linux experience.
  • Proven experience with AWS or GCP.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Harness.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools for infrastructure and applications.
  • Experience with tracing tools like Tempo and OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with container hardening and scanning tools.
  • Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, and Apache NiFi is a plus.
  • Strong production support experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience in Git branching strategies and deployment models with zero downtime (Canary, Blue-Green, GitOps).
  • Strong experience in vulnerability management, implementing SAST, DAST, and understanding CVE scores.
  • Ability to set up complete CI/CD from scratch.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions).
  • Experience working in Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Shell scripting or Python automation is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and mentor junior team members.
  • Leadership experience managing through conflict at all levels of stakeholders.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
