Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an experienced Application Support and DevOps Specialist to administer and support multiple enterprise platforms. You will be the primary contact for applications, working with business and technical teams, and drive problem analysis, resolution, and automation initiatives.

An ideal candidate has hands-on DevOps experience, development/scripting skills, and a track record of improving delivery through containerization, CI/CD, and configuration management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application support and development.
• 3+ years in DevOps practices, tools, frameworks.
• Experience with Linux, Windows Server, AD, SQL, load balancing.
• Experience with Quorum, Entero, and Allegro.
• Identify enhancements and improve business processes.
• Quickly learn new skills and technologies.
• Experience with CI: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise.
• Build tools: Maven, Gradle, Ant; Scripting: PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Bash, JavaScript.
• Source control: Git, SVN; SQL: T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical assistance to key business users and applications support.
• Maintain build processes, deployment strategies, and automation.
• Install and coordinate patches/releases across environments.
• Improve delivery using containers, orchestration, and config management.
• Assist business teams and vendors with installations and upgrades.
• Support and maintain application infrastructure (servers, AD, networks).
• Provide Segregation of Duties – admin server access, audits, and reports.
• Stay up to date on technologies; recommend strategies and tools.
• Coordinate meetings; document decisions, risks, and issues.
• Work with minimal supervision; own applications and areas.
• Be available to support after hours on critical projects.
