Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain First Aid & CPR Certifications.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and Defensive Driving certification within 6 months.
• Ability to receive Handle with Care and Use of Force Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff in the Detention Section in the absence of the Unit Shift Supervisor.
• Oversee daily leadership of staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Review, record, and maintain all written forms, shift logs and incident reports.
• Assist in oversight of admissions and releases when needed.
• Report shift emergencies or events to Administrator on Call or Chief of Detention Operations.
• Provide direction for emergencies or staffing deficits.
• Ensure resident discipline and room confinement are consistent with facility policy.
• Conduct record checks, admissions, releases, and queries to Jolts system.
