This role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and scheduling high-quality meetings with healthcare decision-makers.The Lead Development Director partners closely with Business Development leaders to support revenue growth by identifying client needs, positioning solutions, and driving early-stage client engagement across MSP, VMS, and workforce solutions offerings.Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 2 days/week in office)Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & ProspectingGenerate qualified enterprise-level leads through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and marketing campaigns focused on healthcare systems, workforce solutions, MSP, and VMS opportunitiesIdentify and engage healthcare organizations and decision-makers, including Director and C-level stakeholdersConduct outreach to secure discovery meetings and presentations for Business Development leadersPipeline Development & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate and up-to-date client and pipeline data in SalesforceTrack outreach activity, pipeline progression, and meeting outcomesPartner with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted outbound strategies and campaignsClient Engagement & QualificationConduct discovery conversations to understand client needs, current state, and challenges related to contingent workforce management, staffing programs, and workforce solutionsEducate prospective clients on workforce solutions programs (MSP, VMS, RPO, and technology solutions)Identify opportunities aligned to cost reduction, operational efficiency, and quality of care improvementsFacilitate introductions between qualified prospects and internal Business Development leadershipCross-Sell & Market AwarenessCollaborate with internal teams to identify cross-selling opportunities across service offeringsStay informed on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning within healthcare staffing and workforce solutionsEducation & Years of ExperienceRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED and 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generationExperience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, or pipeline developmentExperience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage leads and activityProven ability to meet or exceed activity or performance metrics (calls, meetings set, pipeline)Strong communication skills with ability to engage business and healthcare stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience in MSP, VMS, workforce solutions, healthcare staffing, or healthcare servicesFamiliarity with workforce solutions programs (MSP, VMS, RPO, healthcare technology)Experience engaging senior-level or C-suite stakeholdersExposure to consultative sales or solution-based selling environmentsKey Skills & CompetenciesLead generation & outbound prospectingPipeline development & CRM management (Salesforce)Discovery & needs assessmentConsultative sales approachHealthcare workforce solutions, MSP/VMS, and staffing industry knowledgeCross-functional collaborationWork Environment / Physical RequirementsWork is performed in an office/home office environment.Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.AMN Healthcare will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform the essential functions of the job.Our Core Values Respect Passion Continuous Improvement Trust Customer Focus InnovationAt AMN Healthcare, our diversity, equity, and inclusion philosophy is grounded in the belief that we should respect all voices, seek different perspectives, and succeed when we act together as a positive force for all of humanity.
